In this 2-front kitchen we used white gloss doors, which add brightness, and a nice wood-looking laminate worktop, which adds warmth. For these customers it was important that the oven was at a certain hight off the floor, so the oven-microwave column was designed to their specifications. They were also able to save by using their existing appliances, which we were happy to refit for them. In the British Contractor we will always find ways to help you keep to your budget while getting you a beautiful new kitchen.
We first found Steevi’s company after seeing one of his vans. Not requiring his services at the time early 2018 I took a photo so I had a record as I thought I could one day need his services, what a brilliant move that turned out to be. When we purchased our present 3-bedroom property in 2019 moving from a smaller 2 bedroom the property needed a lot of work doing to bring it up to a decent standard which included removing the bath in the en-suite and fitting a large shower in its place as well as removing the old wall tiles around the old bath and retiling. At the same time, we needed to upgrade the Aircon to a more modern and economical to run system as well as changing our kitchen appliances, Oven, hob and microwave. All this work was carried out quickly and extremely efficiently. All rubbish was removed daily and after the work was completed everywhere was left neat and tidy. Steevi’s workmen are true professional and extremely good at what they do. In early 2021 (lockdown time when we couldn’t travel to Mallorca) we contacted Steevi again as we needed the kitchen units updating. Steevi visited our apartment with his wife Noelia to measure up and discuss ideas over a video link as we were stuck in the UK. Measurements were taken and plans drawn up then sent over by email/ WhatsApp. Steevi also did live videos from his showroom showing us the different worktops and cabinet doors. After we agreed all the details and the price a fit date was set for March 2021. We still could not travel but I had no hesitation in letting Steevi and his excellent work men carryon as I trusted them 100%. We have a number of Ring cameras fitted for security enabling us to see our terrace and garden. Steevi’s men used the terrace to cut all the wood and worktops to size. As expected, we were not disappointed, as well as covering all our furniture in the lounge they emptied and boxed up all our kitchen stuff, plates, cups, glasses pots and pans and everything else before starting work. Whilst they were working any rubbish was removed every day, the outside was always kept clean and tidy with saw cuttings swept up as they happened. After all the work was completed all our kitchen stuff was put back into the new cupboards and drawers ready for us to arrive and start using. The dust sheets were removed and everywhere left neat and tidy. Steevi did a couple of videos for us of the finished kitchen which showed us how good the new units and worktops looked. We arrived in July 2021 and as per the video the kitchen looked fantastic. The work done was superb. I only wish I could find someone in the UK that is as reliable, professional and good as Steevi and his team.
